Apparently some Leopard upgraders (myself included) found their email programs no longer able to send mail. The send button would be greyed out.

This is a minor problem. The preferences for accounts accidentally reset the SMTP server selection to none. If you go there and select an SMTP server from the dropdown, all will be well again.

I've been experimenting with OS x86 - which is the underground name for Mac OS X compiled for Intel-based Macs, with patches applied to make it run on most any PC platform. Because it runs so well, I have ordered a new PC (piecemeal).
